About Us
Hi, my name is Louise.
I am the founding director of My Way Disability and Aged Care Services. I have been involved in the health industry for over 5 years and I cannot express the passion and joy I gain from seeing others in need give a simple smile because they are being heard.
My background in disability is in complex behaviour, involving working in a facility that cared for people with intellectual disabilities, multiple sclerosis, acquired/traumatic brain injuries, psychosocial issues and so forth. I have started this service to provide a fair, hospitable and comfortable care journey that is reflected on you or your loved one’s care needs and desires. Through my connections with an individual who was affected by their disability and felt like they weren’t being heard and felt like they weren’t involved in their own care, I have decided to branch out and start My Way.
Over my experience, I have learned to prioritise my clients’ ways and to share their journey with them; hence the name, “My Way Disability”.
